The 26th Annual South Texas Family Support Conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Austin in Austin, Texas on June 2nd – 4th, 2020. As you are aware, planning such a large conference of this magnitude takes a great deal of coordination, planning and time. On behalf of the Planning Committee, I would like to extend an invitation for you to submit a workshop proposal. The Planning Committee will review each applicant and topic for selection to present at the 26th Annual Conference.
Download the Call for Papers form here.
In keeping with the goal of the conference, topics of interest should be geared to educate consumers with mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities and their family members throughout the South Texas region. Many of these individuals are primarily Spanish speaking; therefore, we highly encourage the presentation to also be available in Spanish, if possible. If you are proposing a group presentation, only one form needs to be submitted. Please submit all the correct names, titles and email addresses of the other presenters.
Please note that this year we are considering having repeated sessions on selected presentations. Please indicate if you are interested in being considered for presenting twice, possibly in English and in Spanish. Consumers and their families would like to attend as many presentations as possible, providing a minimum of two sessions would assist with this request.
We look forward to hearing from you and having you become part of this exciting opportunity to continue to educate, support and provide services to our families and consumers of South Texas.
Please submit your application and resume by Friday, April 3 to:

Planning Committee Chairman
